Ultimate Bet is CEREUS!

I have to say, I was a bit hesitant about the new online poker network from Tokwiro, which combined UltimateBet and Absolute, but after seeing the new features, I’ve been turned on to the idea.
I like the customizable features. What can I say, I’m a girl. Like most other sites, you can select various skins to use, but you can get an avatar now too! It’s no PKR avatar…it’s kind of rectangular shaped, but its customizable, damn it.
In a press release distributed by Ultimate Bet’s parent company on Tuesday, Tokwiro COO Paul Leggett commented, “We are dedicated to providing the ultimate online experience and with CEREUS we offer real value for every dollar our players put on the table. Our unwavering commitment to security and fair play [is] the foundation of the new network.”
The new emphasis on security is obviously in reference to the cheating scandals.
Some online poker fans don’t share my new enthusiasm for the network however.. Dr. Octagon, on Poker News Daily wrote: “ I have been playing at UB for a LONG, long time. The only reason I stayed there to play against a relatively tough pack was because the interface was so great. The new interface is TERRIBLE. It’s hard to see anything. I have no idea why they changed it. AND my account is all messed up. What happened to half my RAI$E points? Where are my bonus dollars? I’m considering dropping online poker alltogether because there is no site with a good interface anymore.”
Perhaps it’s because I’m not an avid UB user, so I have acquired many points in my time playing with the site, but I haven’t had any issue.
I wouldn’t go so far as to say there’s no online poker site with a good interface either. Apparently this guy has never tried PokerStars or PKR, or Doyles Room.
I want my Doyle’s Room back, by the way! Stupid stupid Microgaming, ditching all of we U.S. players!
