Our economy sucks doesn’t it? You know it’s bad when online venues are starting to close. I mean no heat bill, no rent, no bathroom occupancy laws, and yet they can’t stay open. Maybe if we weren’t shipping all of our jobs overseas we wouldn’t be having these problems. Or maybe if there wasn’t America’s longest running war in history still running things would be better. Unfortunately the boys in charge don’t seem to be paying attention to what is happening here. One of the closing businesses I’ve heard of lately was an online gambling site called Fleet Street or something like that. They were still new when they invested all of their money into the idea, bad timing unfortunately kids.
Pretty bad when you can have your money pulled right out of your wallet when a company ships east, at least that I can understand (hate but understand), but to have your business close just because the government wants to ban payment process. So it appears to me that the main problem isn’t the game, it’s less than rich people getting paid for winning. Total bs in my books kids.
If it was an issue of morality I could understand, but these same crooks on capitol hill that are voting to ban online poker, are freaking PLAYING poker with other political crooks while killing time and debating policies and bills. It just boggles my mind.
Then again we all remember Elliot Spitzer voting time and time again against prostitution, and then getting caught with a prostitute. Do as I say not as I do I guess is their own moral standing. The whole thing just seems so Jimmy Swaggart to me, and that’s a chapter in history I never wanted to revisit. I heard he’s back on television anyone know if that’s true? I keep seeing stickers for him in dirty truck stop bathrooms. Seems a perfect place for his advertising. Shows what I know though, hell I thought he was dead.
