People really need to start doing their homework before they invest in an online poker website. This Zosoz cardroom recently closed because its operators were obviously scammers, bouncing all of the checks the sent out, and when players demanded their money, boom. Gone.
It seems to me that the people accessing the cardroom should have known better. The first clue? U.S. operated. 100% legal. Well, if you’ve been keeping up with online poker news lately, or at all, you’d know that the U.S. does not license or regulated online gambling, unless the site has found a loophole. And in this case, there was no loophole. Players were promised lots of cash, and ended up with overdrafted banking fees. Tsk tsk and for shame. The reason the site claims it got around U.S. gambling laws is that it was a “social networking” site, although there was no forum, no message boards, no indication of social networking. The owners claimed that its users didn’t put up any of their own money to play. Then what the hell is the $20 supscription fee? It’s a SIGN-UP DEPOSIT, and it was SUPPOSED to be used toward the prize pool.
The second clue? It’s “No Warranty” Clause in the FAQ section
ZOSOZ, ITS SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS, MAKE NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE CONTENT (INCLUDING THE USER CONTENT), INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ITS ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, OR RELIABILITY. NEITHER ZOSOZ NOR ITS SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL BE SUBJECT TO LIABILITY FOR TRUTH, ACCURACY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY INFORMATION CONVEYED TO THE USER OR FOR ERRORS, MISTAKES OR OMISSIONS THEREIN OR FOR ANY DELAYS OR INTERRUPTIONS OF THE DATA OR INFORMATION STREAM FROM WHATEVER CAUSE.

Yeah. Come on, people! This is your MONEY you’re gambling with! Know what you’re getting into. Read reviews, read FAQ’s, read about warning signs in online poker rooms before you gamble. It’s a dangerous business sometimes.
