While I praise Playtech for its iPoker network and impeccable online poker software, my major complaint is that their websites do not allow rakeback to its users – and this is a real shame, as this really provides we online poker fanatics with incentive to join a website. Obviously, Playtech doesn’t need to cater to us in this fashion, as it already provides us with an unprecedented gaming platform.
Anyway, there’s a new website out that offers its users up to 100% rakeback on tournanment fees, depending on the amount of money spent on such. Players will receive payment daily, and they can track these payments using the “rake-o-meter.” I have to say, this was an ingenious idea on the part of this online poker room, as it is really hard to make a long-lasting impression in the online poker business when you’re new to the market. In order to compete with some of the leading websites in the industry, one must provide the customer base with a hardcore incentive to play – some do this in the form of sign-up bonuses, loyalty programs and activity points, but really, rakeback is the best deal.
Additionally, this site provides a multitude of other promotions, such as a $10,000 guaranteed tournament, a “knock out the champ” tournament, bounty tourneys, and a qualifier in the EPT. They offer a 100% first time sign up bonus, a 150% reload bonus, and a refer a friend program. How can they do this, while paying back so much in rake?
Well, you obviously don’t always get the full amount back. You have to spend more than usual in tournament fees, etc in order to earn back everything you’ve put in.. Still, the scale at which they pay out is impressive, and competes well with the industry standard.
PaynoRake.com is owned and operated by Ecom Enterprises, a fully-owned subsidiary of Playsafe Holding AS, a publicly-listed company in Norway. Imagine that, an online poker sitenot subject to the Norwegian monopoly. Poor Ladbrokes.
