Don't Ruin It For All of Us

Kind of an odd thing the whole business with Ultimate bet and that broad Tiffany Michelle. Not that I honestly care what happens with people and their online poker sponsorships, if you are at the point where someone will pay for you to play, then you have very little to worry about, after all if one company will then someone else most likely will too. However like most things in poker some old traditions like your word are still very cherished, and telling one group of sponsors that you will play and wear their stuff then bailing on them when it looks like you have a shot and selling out to a higher company is just plain crap!
Really that’s the kind of thing that would get you shot if you were sitting at the table with Ol Doc Holiday. Dead man’s hand or no you would wind up with a bullet between the eyes. I don’t know I just don’t understand, I mean way back in people would pay for other more skilled poker players to play for them if the cover was paid. In turn for the buy in to be paid for without having to pay for it yourself you wouldn’t win the whole payout if victorious. That was the price of not having the cash on hand to buy in or not being willing to spend it. This has been a practice in poker since poker started, no reason for it to change now.
Now I hear that the original company that discovered her and paid her way to the World Series of poker called Pokernews.com is looking into a civil suit against her. You are an investment in this company, just like stock or internet marketing, both are meant to make money thus they pay money and take the risk. For Ultimate Bet to sneak up and buy her out in mid tournament it in my opinion is despicable. I really get mad about this, it’s stupid people doing stupid crap that could ruin it for every broke starry eyed poker player looking for their way in for just one chance.
