You know what I love about online poker? Not only is it a godsend to the socially inept, but any and all are accepted into the game. You see, in most sports, there is a separate league for women, as women do not have the strongest physique; and scrawny men? How are they supposed to channel their competitive urges in an activity that is widely accepted?
Poker can be played by people from all ages, sexes, and lifestyles. ONLINE poker can be played by agoraphobics, the socially anxious, and other shut-ins. It allows people to interact socially whom would never be capable of such otherwise. Just as live poker can be a great way to break the ice in person, online poker can also serve as a conversational piece to those who choose to interact virtually.
Gambling doesn't discriminate. In the end, money is money, regardless of who you win it from.
