Wow, all of these poker terms and I forgot to mention an important one. This is when you have a strong hand, and you bluff your opponent into believing you have a weak hand. If you get a killer hand on the flop, you don't want to scare everyone out of the pot, especially if you're convinced they haven't got anything. So you do a bit of checking, or smaller betting. But you wait for the turn or the river before you make any big plays.
So that, in our poker rooms, is what we refer to as snowplaying.
