SKYCITY Festival!

New Zealand has a pretty big poker tournament going on next month. It’s the SKYCITY poker festival. I find that a pretty unique concept – a festival for poker.. I wonder what it entails. It can’t just be a tournament, if it’s called a festival.. I’m thinking food and music and the works.. I mean, otherwise you might just have an online poker tourney.
So the website doesn’t say a whole lot about the event, but it describes the city as being a happening place:
KYCITY is New Zealand's most popular entertainment destination, a city within a city.

SKYCITY is located in the heart of Auckland, New Zealand's largest and most dynamic city, on the corner of Victoria and Federal Streets.
Oh, and apparently there will be alcohol there, but the site claims that the place is committed to responsible drinking and gaming and all of that jazz
Our best practice host responsibility initiatives ensure guests enjoy an environment that is safe, responsible, and regulated. These include:
Training for all staff in the responsible service of alcohol. For example:
• Intoxicated patrons will be excluded from entering the premises
• Alcohol consumption will be monitored and controlled
Training for all staff in problem gambling awareness and the responsible provision of gambling, including taking all practicable steps to ensure that anyone under 20 years of age is not allowed in the gaming areas.
