Room Reviews - PokerStars

PokerStars is the most widely used online poker room out there, and for good reason. Let's review why.

• US PLAYERS: Yes. Enough said.

• BONUSES AND PROMOTIONS: While PokerStars isn't as generous as some others with their bonuses, they do have a rewards system for quality players. Their Frequent Player Points program has some teeth to it, and combined with their VIP system, regular players at the room actually reap tangible rewards.

• TOURNAMENTS: Tournaments are PokerStars' trump card. For over a year, PokerStars has been running a weekly event known as The Sunday Million. Million dollah. Every Sunday. Hells yeah. PokerStars even has a "tournament dollar" system set up so that player who win satellite entries can bank the value of their satellite win, and use those "tournament dollars" for other events.
  

• SOFTWARE: There are a few nifty features, nothing spectacular, but hey, you're there to play poker. The tables are resizable, there's a preferred seat option, different colored decks, things like that that allow you to customize your room. You can upload a photo of yourself for your seat, etc.

Overall, I give this room a high recommendation. It's simple, user friendly, familiar and most of all, its safe.
