Room Reviews - Absolute Poker

Absolute is a difficult poker room to review, because of the potripper "incident." If you're unfamiliar with this scandal, a couple of years back, someone who worked for the site scammed a bunch of players out of their money using his ability to view everyone's hole cards.
This would make anyone hesitant about the room. However, to me it seems no different than a cashier taking money out of the drawer at work. Things happen.
That being said, here's the basic review of this poker room:

• US PLAYERS: Yes'm

• BONUSES AND PROMOTIONS: Absolute is most generous with their bonuses, sign up and continuously through reload bonuses. Many members rarely play without recieving a bonus.

• TOURNAMENTS: Weekly tournaments adding up to as high as 150 grand and also tournaments to win trips out of country and the like. Aside from this, there is a regular schedule of sit and go's and freerolls.

• SOFTWARE: Absolute has the usual; resizeable tables, various card decks to choose from, you can play multiple tables, that sort of thing. It doesn't include the bet half pot or bet pot features, but those are obvious tells anyway.

Overall, Absolute Poker is all right. Not fantastic, but all right. Good to start out with, especially with the bonus money you recieve, but as you get better, switch to something else.
